World Privacy Forum
The World Privacy Forum is a non-profit, non-partisan organization, founded in 2003. It conducts independent research, analysis, and consumer education related to data privacy, digital governance, and data protection.[1]

Key areas of focus include the protection and governance of healthcare data, AI and machine learning, identity ecosystems, managing large-scale digital data flows, the financial sector, and inclusion of vulnerable populations.[2]
The World Privacy Forum contributed comments to ICANN'S task forces on the WHOIS Database, recommending tiered access and restricted access to domain registry information in the interest of privacy[3]. This would allow registrants to keep phone numbers, emails, and physical addresses private, and prevent marketers from accessing personal information via WHOIS.
