Russell Bean is an engineer with managerial experience and a business, IT and telecoms background, utilizing experience gained from both university and working for a large multinational and a major player in the telecommunications world. Proven track record within both customer facing and technology driven departments. Good motivator and team leader with excellent communication skills, innovative, extremely resourceful and ability to learn quickly. Readily accepts responsibility and has high self-standards and levels motivation. Long term serving member of ISOC and founding member of ISOC Panama with a interest in giving back to the community and educating also about freedom of Internet, WiFi in communities and community networks. Also when possible donate time to fund raising and charity events, last Christmas I was honoured to be master of ceremony at the Christmas British Ball event, entertaining over 300 guests and several ambassadors for various countries in Panama.

Responsible for all IP Data and Internet products, including Cisco MPLS network, DSLAM network, Juniper Internet Routers, Dial Platforms and Metro Optical Ethernet networks.
Currently working on MSAN and NGN based networks solutions and next generation VoIP / PSTN replacement solutions.
Representative of company and director in the Inter-red organisation (Panama’s ISP peering group) and active member in the Latin American IPv6 forum.
Also responsible for third line support of problems, ranging from ADSL customer issues to MPLS Mobile 3G data back-haul
