Epic Advertising was an online performance ad network and search marketing company that provided advertisers and agencies with measurable Internet advertising impact. Leveraging proprietary technologies and more than 45,000 publishers, Epic provided its advertising partners with performance and direct response marketing services, search engine marketing, media planning, branded marketing campaigns and targeted, worldwide online reach.
Epic was founded in 2001, and owned by its founders and outside investors.[1] Epic was acquired in 2010 by Connexus to form Epic Media Group (EMG Connexus, Inc.). [2] The company was headquartered in New York with offices in Toronto, London and San Francisco.

In 2010, Epic was acquired by Connexus in a merger to form Epic Media Group (EMG Connexus, Inc.).[3]
History
Epic Advertising was founded by Alex Zhardanovsky and Joe Speiser in 2000.[4] In 2005, Randy Nicolau was hired as CEO.[5] In 2008, Don Mathis was hired as CEO.[6] The company acquired Baazar Advertising, a search marketing company, in 2006.[7]
