Dr. Olga Cavalli is a widely known professional for her work in Argentina, America and Europe. She is an electrical and electronics engineer by profession and has vast experience in telecommunication, project management, market research, competitive analysis, public policy and regulations. She holds a multitude of positions in the world of ICT, including high-level work with ICANN, the South School of Internet Governance, eLAC, higher education, and elsewhere.[1] Dr. Cavalli has acted as a pioneer for women in technology and engineering since entering the male-dominated field, and is currently the President of the Women in Technology and Business Forum and the founder of the National Centre of Engineers' Women Engineers for Development Commission.[2]

Dr. Cavalli is Argentina's GAC representative at ICANN, and was also the Nominating Committee's appointee to the GNSO, where she represents the Latin American/Caribbean region.[3]

She was also the Argentine focal point for the eLAC 2010 Regional Information Society Plan of Action, the coordinator of the Internet Governance Group in eLAC 2010, and is the former coordinator of the Financing eLAC 2007 working group.[4]

Olga resides in Buenos Aires, Argentina with her two teenage children, and can fluently speak Spanish, English, Portuguese and German.[5]
