Kelly Hardy is the Head of Registry Policy at CentralNic. Before that, she ran her own consulting firm, Kelly Hardy Consulting, Inc., which she founded in 2009. She also worked as a consultant for Blacknight Internet Solutions Ltd and the .me domain.[1] Kelly is also a Member of the Content Advisory Board of NamesCon and WorldHostingDays.[2]
Career History
Kelly has served as a Consultant for DomainsBot, CoCCA.org.nz, RegistryPro, Minds + Machines (2009), Iron Mountain (2009), and ICANN (2009). From 2008-2011, she was a Contributor at NameSmash.com, where she was the Founding Editor. From 2006-2008, Hardy served as an International Acquisitions Analyst at Marksmen, Inc., where she worked with Fortune 500 clients to provide branding assistance and manage IP issues regarding sale and transfer of trademarks and patents. During her time at Marksmen, she was also a Contributing Writer at the L.A. Record. Prior to this, Kelly was the Program Director of Cultural Arts at Rio Hondo College (2003-2005) and a contributing writer at O.C. Weekly (2000-2002).[1]
Education
Hardy holds a B.A. in Modern American Culture and Expression from Whittier College.
