==Application Excerpts==
The following is excerpted from the applicant's response to question #18:
"Digi-Key represents one of the fastest-growing electronic component distributors within that marketplace. The companyʹs remarkable sales growth and its ability to consistently outperform the industry is the best evidence of Digi-Keyʹs superior service.
Digi-Key is growing at a rapid rate and continues to gain market share. It is Digi-Keyʹs customer-centered business philosophy that will continue to drive the companyʹs rapid growth far into the future.
The proposed .digikey gTLD is a restricted, exclusively-controlled TLD that would serve the purpose of enhancing and expanding Digi-Key’s ability to:
* deliver product and service marketing⁄advertising;
* enable marketing campaign activation;
* facilitate interaction and communication with individuals and entities with whom Digi-Key has a business relationship;
* improve business operations;
* simplify Internet user navigation to information about Digi-Key products and services; and
* provide an online environment which instills trust and engenders confidence in Digi-Key and its affiliates."<ref>[http://gtldresult.icann.org/application-result/applicationstatus Application Download from gTLDresult.ICANN.org]</ref>

Application Excerpts[edit | edit source]

The following is excerpted from the applicant's response to question #18: "Digi-Key represents one of the fastest-growing electronic component distributors within that marketplace.

  • deliver product and service marketing⁄advertising;
  • enable marketing campaign activation;
  • facilitate interaction and communication with individuals and entities with whom Digi-Key has a business relationship;
  • improve business operations;
  • simplify Internet user navigation to information about Digi-Key products and services; and
  • provide an online environment which instills trust and engenders confidence in Digi-Key and its affiliates."[2]
