Thuhue nguyen is the founder and executive director of Vietnet-ICT, an NGO that promotes the use of technology among women in Vietnam. She is also the president of and president of Ecolife.ltd.[1]

In 2008, Hue was appointed as Asia representative for the advisory committee of ICANN. She is the former country representative and legal specialist for the Global Internet Policy Initiative (GIPI) in Vietnam. She is also founder and director of the Center for Marinelife Conservation and Community Development (MCD).[2]

Thuhue nguyen is a reknowned for her works on technology for development, ICT in microfinance, gender enhancement and women's empowerment, media development support and ICT policy. [3]According to her "I can bring the voices of Internet users in the Asia Pacific region to help shape Internet policy. And I am very proud that Vietnet-ICT can contribute to the digital divide narrowing for Vietnam."[4]
