Hi Andrew, Thanks for your feedback. I need your help. [[Dreyfus and associés]] Company is in my list of 50 companies. When I was trying to post this article, I found that this article is already there but only with templates. M.A.R is working on it. Now what am I suppose to do? I have this article written with me. Should I post there? Do let me know. I have also found two of my articles in his list. [[User:Anaya|Anaya]] | Hi Andrew, Thanks for your feedback. I need your help. I received your request from help you sent to Ray on vWorker. For future reference you will get a quicker reply if you ask me for help using my Discussion page. So, concerning not finding info: If you don't find info then the article does not need to be written - the goal is to reflect what info is available on the internet- so some articles will be very long and some will be short. Very short articles we call "stubs" and we don't count them as a full part of the 50 article batch, we count them as half a regular article, and sometimes we opt to delete the article instead. Concerning pages in spanish: I use google chrome as a browser, and it very conveniently offers to translate entire pages into whatever language, so it makes it very easy to read an entire page. You could also use a translator (such as [http://www.google.com/language_tools?hl=en Google's language tools]. Though, this may have limits on how much text can be translated. I would consider updating your browser to Google Chrome, it works quite well. You reference articles in spanish the same as you would regularly. I hope this helps, let me know if I can help more! Hi Anaya, welcome to ICANNWiki. My name's Caterina, and I'm an editor for the site. If you have any questions about the writing process, mediawiki coding, or anything like that, feel free to ask me or Andrew, the other editor. Also, please list the articles you've written on your user page. I have begun the process for you. Take a look at some of the other writers' pages (off the Articles that are being worked on page) to see how it's done. Thanks! Looking forward to working with you. Caterina
- I've noticed on the CityLink page that you could use some help with referencing. The way referencing works is that the coding looks like this: <ref>[url urlname]</ref>, and you place the code after the text that the referencing is citing. Then under the references heading, you use the code {{reflist}}, and it will grab all the references you used on the page and put them there automatically for you.
- In order to upload a logo, go to the company's website, drag the logo onto your desktop, then on our website, go to Upload file in the lefthand toolbox. Rename the file to something like CitylinkLogo.gif and hit upload. Then take the file name and put it in the logo field in the template.
- Additionally, I suggest brushing up on NPOV (neutral point of view) for your future articles. You aren't trying to sell the company, so just state the facts. Caterina
References
Hola Anaya, I am another editor for the site (ahhh! there are more than one of us!), I've noticed that your references seem to be a bit off. Try taking a look at the coding for any of our other articles and see if you can't trouble shoot that problem to make yours look like those. Let me know if you have any questions by using my Discussion Page. I look forward to working with you! Andrew
Also, Please put an emphasis on finding sources outside of the company's own website. Right now you are doing a very thorough job of representing the company by really dissecting their own website and taking all relevant info. It's great to see you put in this level of work, but please use outside sources whenever possible. If you just use their website then you have an article that seems very biased, is not NPOV, and is basically a copy of the company's site, albeit in a different format. So, outside sources make more credible pages with more interesting pages that are in fact NPOV. Thanks for your attention to this! Keep up the good work. Andrew
