NIC.NI is a non-profit organization dedicated in managing the operations of the .ni country code top level domain name (ccTLD) of Nicaragua.

In 1988, the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) delegated the .ni ccTLD to Nicaragua and it was included in the Domain Name System (DNS) of the internet upon the request of the National Engineering University through Dean Leonel Plazaola and German aid worker Hoppman Cornelius.[1]

NIC.NI is an ICANN accredited registry operator.
