Jean-Jacques Subrenat is a writer and former diplomat. Presently, he is the senior advisor to the board of CCRN and a part of EUNIC. He was selected as a member of the ICANN board, his term began in 2007 and ended in 2010.[1]
He is also working as a consultant after retiring from diplomatic service. He is the chairman of advisory board of "Institut Pierre Werner" and a Tutor at ENA.[2]

Jean holds a Ph.D. in history from the Sorbonne University of Paris.[3]
