.home is a new TLD proposed to ICANN's New gTLD Program.

Current Applicants[edit | edit source]

  1. GoDaddy, the largest ICANN accredited registrar submitted an application for the TLD. Its application is confirmed by Warren Adelman, CEO of GoDaddy. According to Adelman, .home string offers multiple meanings and opportunities. Entities will be able to use it in a personal or real estate context. [1]
  2. Top Lvel Domains Holding, a company engaged in acquiring, operating and providing TLD consultancy services and back-end registry solutions confirmed that the .home string was one of the 68 TLDs applied for by the company on its behalf.[2]
  3. Uniregistry, a new registry operator headed by Frank Schilling also applied for the string.[3]
  4. Donuts (Baxter Pike, LLC), one of 307 applications submitted by the company
  5. Dot Home LLC
  6. DotHome / CGR E-Commerce Ltd
  7. Google (Charleston Road Registry Inc.)
  8. HOME REGISTRY INC.
