.jewelers is a proposed Niche TLD with ICANN's new gTLD expansion program by GJB Partners to become its registry operator. The company is engaged in providing business continuity, digital asset management, online marketing, social capital strategies and social media marketing. GJB Partners previously managed the .am (Armenia) and .fm (Federated States of Micronesia) ccTLDs respectively.[1] The .jewelers string is intended for the use of all entities affiliated with the jewelry industry worldwide. The company partnered with AusRegistry to provide back-end registry solutions for the TLD.[2]

GJB Partners application for the ,jewelry string is supported by Continental Buying Group (CBG), one of the largest independent jewelry buying organization in the United States with 100 members with 300 jewelry retail stores reporting an annual sales of $1 billion dollars and BlueStar Applications, the exclusive provider of web applications and services for the jewelry industry.[3]
