Jaewon Son is a researcher at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST). She is also a Committee Member of the Korea Internet Governance Forum (KrIGF), Capacity Building Lead of Youth4IG, and Asia Pacific Regional At-Large Organisation (APRALO) Member. She is interested in ensuring the multistakeholder model in internet governance which made her initiate the first youth session in Korea during the 8th KrIGF and co founded the first Korean youth stakeholder group called [https://voyaig.kr/ Voice of Youth at Internet Governance] (VOY@IG).
