.band is a new GTLD that was proposed in the New gTLD Program of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers. It was delegated to the Root Zone of the DNS on the 15th August, 2014, completing the successful application for the string.[1]

Successful Applicant

  1. Donuts (Auburn Hollow, LLC), the company was formed by domain industry veterans that applied for 307 new gTLDs. Daniel Schindler, EVP for Sales & Marketing of Donuts is listed as the main contact for the application. . [2] This applicant submitted a Public Interest Commitment, which can be downloaded here.
