The investor will not receive ownership of the TLD but a share of future revenues. .school is a TLD delegated in ICANN's New gTLD Program. In December 2014 it was announced that it had been won at auction by Donuts. The company manages the TLD and is its Registry. The proposed application succeeded and was delegated to the Root Zone on 19 February, 2015.[1] [2] The TLD will enter an EAP period starting May 27, 2015. [3]
