Private Auction
A Private auction conducted in September 2014 left Donuts as the only applicant for the string, as the other applicant withdrew. The winning bid was not revealed.[3]
Contract signed
On the 16th October 2014, Donuts (Blue Falls, LLC) received a Registry Agreement signed by ICANN for .legal after passing the Initial Evaluation.[4]
