Wolf Ludwig is an independent media journalist and consultant, and the current Chair of EURALO. He also began work as the Secretariat and Program Coordinator for the European Dialogue on Internet Governance. Mr. Ludwig is also a consultant for SATW's ICT Commission, and he is the former Community Coordinator for Wikimedia CH.[1][2]
Career History
- Studied English and Economics at the English Institute in Heidelberg.
- In 1997, Wolf was placed as head of a project to merge six Swiss media associations, creating Comedia. Wolf served as Head of Department Electronic Media for Comedia until 2006. [3]
- Helped to found Comunica-ch in 2003, representing them at WSIS I and II. [4]
- Founding member of EuroDIG and co-organiser of the first and second meetings, October 08 in Strasbourg and September 09 in Geneva. [5]
Publications
- Independent media journalist since 2006.
- Assisted in German translation and adaptation of the Internet Literacy Handbook, published by the Council of Europe. [7]
- Co-authored the Global Information Society Watch's 2008 report on Access to Infrastructure, the 2009 report on Access to Content, and the 2010 report on e-Waste. [8]
