.np is the ccTLD for Nepal. It is managed by Mercantile Communication Pvt. Ltd.[1]

Rules and Restrictions[edit | edit source]

The .np domains are only available to Nepalese residents and businesses with a physical address in the country. Domain registrations under .np ccTLD are free of cost and registered on a first-come-first-serve basis, but terms and conditions apply.[2]

The registrations are made in third level beneath various second level generic domains. There is no registration directly under .np.[3]

As of October 2024, the official registry website is not loading.
