Elisabeth Porteneuve has been involved in ICANN since its inception. She was the first DNSO Secretary, from 1999 to 2002.[1]
Work
Elisabeth Porteneuve has been a leader in the ccTLD community, working as Counsel to the General Director of the French registry, AFNIC.[2] She was elected member to the Board of CENTR, the CENTR Executive Committe. [3]
Elisabeth served at the DNSO Names Council, elected by the ccTLD constituency of the DNSO. She served at the first ICANN IDN committee.[4]
She served for many years on the Administrative Committee of the the World Wide Alliance of ccTLDs.[5]
Elisabeth is an expert member to AFNOR, one of 5 standardization bodies forming the ISO 3166 Maintenance Agency for country codes.[6]
