James Bladel is the Director of Policy Planning at GoDaddy.com, where he oversees the management of gTLD and ccTLD relations. He is a part of the GNSO.[1][2]

ICANN Participation

Mr. Bladel's continued participation at ICANN meetings includes updating the community on RSG, PDP, Working Groups, and other similar issues. He has made presentations at ICANN Seoul, ICANN Nairobi, and ICANN Sydney.[4][5] In June, 2010, he responded to ICANN's calls for volunteers for the Whois Policies Review Team.[6]

He has expressed personal views that ICANN constantly strive to hold meetings in areas that can attract large numbers of attendees in order to better make meaningful and significant decisions. He also hopes that ICANN continues to address and improve its resources for those individuals partaking in Remote Participation.[7]
