Dave Piscitello is an ICANN SSAC Fellow and president and principal consultant at Core Competence, Inc.. A 30-year network, Internet and security veteran, Dave provides advisory and consulting services to security and broadband access companies, *SPs, and Fortune 100 companies.[1]

- He has been the president of Core Competence since 1993.[2]
- From 1988-1993 he worked as a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Communications Research.
- From 1982-1988 he worked as a District Manager Unisys Corporation
- He was the Founder and Program chairman of The Internet Security Conference. (1999-2002)
- Board Member at Covad Communications Company (1997-2001) and CoSine Communications Corporation (1999-2002).
- He was the Telecommunications Series Consulting Editor at Artech House Publishers (1994-2002)
