- Google, .lol is one of the more than 50 new new generic top level domain names (gTLDs) proposed by the search engine giant.[1]
- Uniregistry, is a company established by domain name investor Frank Schilling. He confirmed that his company will try to acquire the string through the auction.[2][3]
