Kiran Malancharuvil is an Internet Governance Policy Counselor at MarkMonitor in Washington, DC, and has worked there since May 2013. As a trademark attorney, she is passionate about international trademark protections and litigation, particularly in fields related to the internet. Her specialties include Internet Law and Development as they relate to ICANN Policy matters and its 2012 gTLD expansion project.[1]
She is also a member of the IPC, where she represents the rights of MarkMonitor and clients to the IPC. She is a former advocate for the International Olympic Committee, and is currently involved with INTA, IGO/FNGO/PDP Working Groups, and the GNSO.[2]
