Diego Canabarro is an Advisor to the Executive Secretariat of the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br, and is in charge of the Brazilian Internet Observatory.[1]

He is also involved with ICANN through the GAC, the GNSO, ISOC, and IETF.[1]

ICANN 50 in London 2014 was Canabarro's first ICANN conference, and getting his PhD is his proudest life achievement.[1]
