The Governmental Advisory Committee (GAC) is a formal advisory body providing important feedback and input for ICANN regarding its public policy. It provides advice to ICANN on public policy aspects of ICANN’s responsibilities with regard to the DNS. One of its most important responsibilities is analyzing ICANN's activities and policies as they might affect governments.
