Peter Cihon is a technology policy researcher.

Career History[edit | edit source]

Peter worked as Google Policy Fellow at LIRNEasia, on user-focused research of zero-rated promotions in Myanmar. Previous, he interned with the ACLU Speech, Privacy and Technology Project, the Human Rights and Special Prosecutions Section of the US Department of Justice, and with Human Rights NGO EMC in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia.

ICANN and Internet Governance Participation[edit | edit source]

Peter attended his first meeting at ICANN58 as a member of the NextGen program. He was a NextGen Ambassador at ICANN64.
