Essential ICANN Officers are enumerated in the ICANN Bylaws.[1] Other officers may be appointed by the ICANN Board and directed by the ICANN President.[1]
Enumerated Officers
President

Established as the Chief Executive Officer in Article 15.4 of the ICANN Bylaws. The President is responsible for all of ICANN's "activities and business.[1]"

Secretary

Established in Article 15.5 of the ICANN Bylaws. The Secretary maintains the of the Board, and performs other duties as assigned:
The Secretary shall keep or cause to be kept the minutes of the Board in one or more books provided for that purpose, shall see that all notices are duly given in accordance with the provisions of these Bylaws or as required by law, and in general shall perform all duties as from time to time may be prescribed by the President or the Board.[1]
