David Curtin has been working at IEDR, Ireland's national registrar since 2002, and has been its CEO since October 2003. During his time as CEO, IEDR won the contract to run the ENUM registry,[1] the creation of personalized domains,[2] and a 12.9% growth in domains registered for the year 2010.[3]
Mr. Curtin celebrated the 150,000 .ie domain with IEDR in November, 2010.[4] He has previously attributed part of its success and its award-winning security to the authentication process in place to assure that each domain is directly tied to Ireland.[5]
