She holds a multitude of positions in the world of ICT, including high-level work with ICANN, the South School of Internet Governance, eLAC, higher education, and elsewhere.[1] Dr. Cavalli has acted as a pioneer for women in technology and engineering since entering the male-dominated field, and is currently the President of the Women in Technology and Business Forum and the founder of the National Centre of Engineers' Women Engineers for Development Commission.[2]

Dr. Cavalli was Argentina's GAC representative at ICANN, and was also the Nominating Committee's appointee to the GNSO, where she represents the Latin American/Caribbean region.[3]

Presently Olga is the Dean of the National Defense Faculty and within ICANN she is appointed by Nomcom in the ccNSO.
