.delivery is a new GTLD that was proposed in ICANN's New gTLD Program. It was delegated to the Root Zone of the DNS on the 1st November, 2014, completing the successful application for the string.[1]
Successful Applicant[edit | edit source]
- Donuts formed Steel Station, LLC to submit its application for the TLD. Donuts filed for 307 new gTLDs, each under different company names. Its registry service provider is Demand Media.[2] This applicant submitted a Public Interest Commitment, which can be downloaded here.
Previous applicant[edit | edit source]
- Famous Four Media (dot Delivery Limited)- The contact person listed in the application is Geir Rasmussen. The company applied for 61 new gTLDs including .delivery.[3]
Contract signed[edit | edit source]
On the 11th September 2014, Donuts received a Registry Agreement signed by ICANN for .delivery after passing the Initial Evaluation.[4]
