David Cake is the Vice-Chair of the Electronic Frontiers Australia, as well as a Ph.D. candidate at Curtin University's Department of Internet Studies. He is currently a part of the NCUC Executive Committee and the SSR Review Team.

He was co-founder for Western Australia's hackerspace, The Artifactory.[1]
