Adenike Osofisan is member of the Board of trustee of the Nigeria Internet Registration Association. She is a pioneer member that saw to the creation of the association from inception. She teaches at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State. The pioneer and current Director of University of Ibadan School of Business.
ICANN and Internet Governance Participation[edit | edit source]
Her first meeting was in Dakar, Senegal in 2011. She is a member of the GNSO.
Education[edit | edit source]
She attended University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife) in 1972 and left to attend Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta for her Masters degree.
She is the first female with a PhD in Sub-Shara Africa in Computer Science and also the first female Professor in Computer Science.
