The 8th annual South School on Internet Governance (SSIG) is being held from 3-7 April 2017 at the Fundação Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The South School on Internet Governance (SSIG) trains new leaders in all aspects related to Internet Governance, from a global perspective and with focus on the Latin America and Caribbean Region.

Live Streaming of the school is available, with translations is English, Spanish and Portuguese.
