.bank is one of the proposed new gTLDs for the global financial industry by different organizations including Domain Security Company formerly Asif LLC, a start-up company based in Wisconsin, [1] the American Bankers Association (ABA) and BITS, the technology policy arm of the Financial Services Roundtable. ABA and BITS already signed a contract with Verisign to provide registry services for the TLD.[2]
