.llp is a proposed new gTLD in ICANN's New gTLD Program, generally intended for use by limited liability partnerships

Current Applicants[edit | edit source]

  1. Dot Registry LLC, founded by Ephraim Gershon. The company plans to restrict the registration of .llp domain names to legally registered entities in the United States to avoid a possible objection from the National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS). The organization expressed concerns to ICANN regarding company-themed TLDs and requested the internet governing body to approve registry operators that are "legally and appropriately registered with the Secretaries of State or the equivalent state agency" including the registration of domain names. Neustar has been selected by the company to provide its back-end registry solutions.[1][2] [3]
  2. PLL Registry, LLC
  3. myLLP GmbH
  4. Google (Charleston Road Registry Inc.)
