Matt Bentley was the Chief Strategy Officer of Sedo, the leading online marketplace for the buying and selling of domain names. In this role, Bentley was responsible for developing market and product strategy for the Sedo organization. In 2008 July, he annouced his leaving from Sedo[1].

Bentley's previous role at Sedo was as Chief Executive Officer of the company's U.S. division, Sedo.com, LLC. Bentley led the Sedo's U.S. subsidiary into becoming the company's fastest growing division since it was started in 2004. With his introduction company's US derived profits increased by five folds. In addition to leading Sedo.com, Bentley has brokered some of the highest value sales in the domain industry, served as an expert witness in the area of domain valuation. He has been referenced, quoted and mentioned in many domain related artcles, news and journals[2].
