Matt Bentley was the Chief Strategy Officer of Sedo, a leading online marketplace for the buying and selling of domain names. In this role, Bentley was responsible for developing market and product strategy for the Sedo organization. In July, 2008, he annouced he was leaving Sedo. He currently lists himself as an entrepreneur.
Bentley's previous role at Sedo was as Chief Executive Officer of the company's U.S. division. Bentley turned Sedo's U.S. subsidiary into the company's fastest growing division since it was started in 2004, and its US derived profits increased five fold. In addition to leading Sedo.com, Bentley has brokered some of the highest value sales in the domain industry, and is considered an expert in the area of domain valuation. He has been referenced, quoted, and mentioned in many domain related articles.
Bentley Received his BS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University (USA), and Master's in International Business from the Euromed-Marseille Graduate School of Business.
