Kim Davies is the Vice President, IANA Functions, PTI.[1] Prior to this position Davies was the Director of Technical Services at ICANN. His primary responsibilities are for DNS root zone management and other domain name-related aspects of IANA's work.[2]

Davies has attended over 10 ICANN Meetings.[3]

Career History[edit | edit source]

Before joining ICANN, Davies was a Technical Policy Advisor for CENTR, where he represented the European Country Code Managers in the International Flora.[4]

He has also worked in a number of other positions related to Domain and ISP management. He has served as head of Web Services at iiNet, an Internet Access Company, and as Principal for Cynosure Innovation, an Internet consulting business. He was also on the board of auDA until 2005.[5]
