Marco Davids is a Senior Technical Policy Advisor and Senior Research Engineer at SIDN, the ccTLD for the Netherlands (.nl). He is with SIDN since 2007 and a member of the SIDN Labs R&D-team[1]. In this capacity he is involved in various projects, primarily with a focus on the (DNS). Marco is also an active participant of the RIPE and IETF-community and has contributed to several RFC's[2] and draft-documents[3][4].
Career History[edit | edit source]
Before joining SIDN in 2007, Marco worked as a Senior Network Specialist at SARA (nowadays known as SURFsara), where he was involved in the operational management of the 'Amsterdam Internet Exchange' (AMS-IX) and SURFnet, the Dutch National Research Network. Earlier, he worked for Casema, at the time a large cable company in the Netherlands.
