Jean-Jacques Subrenat is a writer and a diplomat. Presently he is the senior advisor to the board of CCRN and a part of EUNIC. He was selected as a member of the ICANN board, his term began is 2007 and ended in 2010.[1]

Education

Jean holds a doctor's degree from the Sorbonne University of Paris. He has done diploma from Bordeaux, Paris, Osaka.

Career History

  • He was a volunteer in the French Navy (1960-63)
  • From 1967-1971, he was a researcher at CNRS.
  • From 1972, he worked as a steady part of the diplomatic service holding differenct positions which include policy planning staff, head of the affairs department, diplomatic advisor, Deputy director for Asia and Pacific.

Publications

Edited a book on Estonia, published a book on music in Finland. Guest of the International Visitor Program (USA, 1986); honorary distinctions from Estonia, Finland, France, Japan, Thailand.
