Vojo Spahiu has been a consultant with CII Albani, and ICT Institute, since 1999. He is the first ccTLD administrator for the national domain, .al.[1]




Actually is doing the ICT Consultant in Milan, Italy. Vojo has been the first Administrative Contact of ccTLD .al, since 1998 time from that he is also a member of International College of Afnic. Vojo has a relatively long history of working in ICT field. Comes from the academic environment to industry in 1994. Has been a computer graphics and system engineer in National Institute of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics (INIMA), also a Lecturer of Computer Sciences at Tirana University for a period of 10 years. During 1998-2003 was appointed as Member of the Board of Directors and Director of Radio-Communications and Internet Development Directorate, in Albanian Telecommunications Regulatory Agency. Before that has been Head of Information Technology of Albanian Telecom, and earlier before has worked like Support Engineer for Hewlett Packard Hardware and Software in Information Business Company in Tirana (Local HP Distributor). Before transfering to Italy Vojo has been CTO of Albanian Incumbent telecommunications operator Albtelecom (Albanian Telecom).

Studies Computer Graphics and Operating Systems in Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy after earning a bachelor/master in Special (Nuclear) Physics, in Tirana University, Albania.

Speaks fluently English, French, Italian and Albanian mother tongue, speaks well Russian.
