DotHealth, LLC is a new registry operator applying for the .health generic top level domain name (gTLD) with ICANN's New gTLD Program. The company aims to develop the .health as the most trusted domain name space for the health science industry worldwide.[1]
The company partnered with Neustar as its back-end registry service provider, STRAAT Investments, the same company that provided initial funding for .co Internet and applied for other new gTLDs itself, and LegitScript, a company engaged in investigating the legitimacy of an online pharmacy's operations.[2]
DotHealth LLC is co-founded by Andy Weisbergs, former head of Bowker’s Identifier Services Strategic Business Unit & ISO Standards Operations, and Neil Posner, former Vice-president of Pricing Strategy for Avaya. Weisbergs and Posner serve as CEO and COO for the company.[3]
