Anand Raje is an entrepreneur, solution architect, mentor having 16+ years of experience in Computing and Internet technology design, development, research, and its innovative implementations. Worked on large scale e-governance G2C, G2G problem statements for various government departments and enterprises. Researched and applied optimized algorithms for cryptographic framework implementations. My professional experience encompasses technology consulting to enterprises, governments, law enforcement agencies, Internet Services organizations, Internet Exchange Points, Academia & Research Institutions. His leadership experience blends with technology innovations and an interest in volunteering for societal causes and capacity development.[1][2]
Raje is an experienced Network Security trainer, panelist, and speaker, who holds a Master of Computer Science Degree, as well as multiple IT, Network security, and Privacy certifications, such as DSCI DCPLA, CSSP, CCNSP.[2]
ICANN 55 in Marrakech, Morocco was Raje's first ICANN Meeting, at which he was an ICANN Fellow. He is Chair Kolkata Chapter of ISOC.[1] He was also selected for and completed Internet Society's Next Generation Leaders program.[2]
Major Works & Accomplishments[edit | edit source]
Raje has participated in as well as organized multiple International Technology forums, workshops and conferences, and he has received fellowships from ICANN, ISOC, and IETF. He was involved in bringing first L-Root instance in India, and is now helped in implementing the Indian IETF Capacity Building Program (IICB), which aims to increase awareness of Internet standards and Protocols in engineering students, so as to increase participation in IETF activities. His community engagements involves contributing towards hosting India’s first L-Root anycast instance. Executed IICB – Indian IETF Capacity Building program. Contributed towards hosting South Asia Network Operators Group (SANOG 34), INSIG 2019 and India Internet Week 2019 in Kolkata.
Current Involvements[edit | edit source]
Raje is currently researching on Internet operations, specially DNS and its associated operations challenges. The Root Servers, TLDs, Its anycast implementations, DNSSEC implementation challenges, routing detours, new RFCs on DoT/DoH and its implementation challenges. The study also includes impact of emerging technologies on CII resilient Internet Infrastructure.
