Mario Teza is a representative from the third sector of CGI.br. He occupies the same position as Marcelo Fernandes Costa.[1]

The third sector is mainly represented by charity work, voluntray sector and non-for-profit activities (NGOs).[2]

Similarly, CGI.br is a non-profit organization in charge of the promotion and development of Internet services in Brazil. The CGI.br is also referred to as the "Brazilian Internet Steering Committee". '

About Mario Teza

He was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

Professional Experience

During his working experience, Mario Teza occupied the following positions:

  • Vice President of Procergs management [3]
  • Founder and member of the Free Software Project of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil Free Software Project [4]
  • The founder of the international NGO Hypatia
  • Founder of Livre.org Software Association.[5]

Membership

He is a member of CIG.br and of the Consortium of Free Software Developers and Users in Latin America and the Caribbean of UNESCO.

Mario Teza and ICANN

Being a member of the CGI.br, Mario Teza must also stay informed regarding the development achieved by the ICANN, thus attending the ICANN meetings. According to publications, in 2005 Mario Teza attended an ICANN meeting along with a larger Brazilian delegation. [6] This proves his membership within CGI.br and ICANN.
