Eric Rice is the president of Domains For Media LLC, a domain consulting company and DNCartoons.com which features satirical cartoons on the domain industry and the 2nd biggest domain sales newsletter on the web. [1]

For the past 15 years, he has held senior positions with global technology companies involved in domain name management, direct marketing and Internet marketing.

Eric Rice leverages his extensive experience in management of message strategy, direct mail and customer relationship programs in his role as the former General Manager of BulkRegister. His background as VP of Account Strategy at Johnson Direct Advertising, the professional direct marketing agency for technology related firms, honed his experience in providing strategy, design and execution for leading accounts such as IBM, Novell, World Book Interactive, The Learning Company and Internet Security Systems.

From 1994 to 2000 he served as Vice President of Business Development for ConnectedBrands where he created online advertising, branding and direct marketing strategies for Avid Technology, Softwatch, Cybercash, and Comcast, among others.

In 2000 he was named General Manager of Bulkregister, the eighth largest domain registrar. His most significant achievement was crafting and managing the company's highly profitable venture into domain monetization, which greatly enhanced its attractiveness as an acquisition target.

Eric Rice holds both a B.S. and a Masters in Education from FSU. Skilled in the domain monetization field, Eric is currently providing domain monetization and consulting services through his company, Domains For Media LLC. His consultancy helps registrars, hosting companies and domain owners derive better — or new — monetization strategies for their domains and domain portfolios.
