.build is a new TLD in ICANN's New gTLD Program. Plan Bee LLC was the only applicant for the TLD. Minardos Group the construction company was an investor and had also applied for .construction and .expert. The proposed application succeeded and was delegated to the Root Zone on 18 January 2014. ARI Registry Services provide back-end support. On 07 November 2013, Plan Bee LLC received a Registry Agreement signed by ICANN for .build after passing all the required processes needed to become a Registry Operator for the string
Plan Bee LLC established partnerships with industry leaders, such as Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) and American Subcontractors Association (ASA), in addition to working closely with the Blue Book Network.
