Behnam Valizadeh is a manager at Information Technology Organization (ITO) of Iran. He works in Internet Resources at ITO. He is also a Business Consultant. He works in Internet Governance and is involved in the Information Society.

He was at  ICANN 55 in Marrakech, ICANN 60 in Abu Dhabi, and ICANN 63 in Barcelona. He also participated in IGF 2011 in Nairobi. He has been in WSIS Forum since 2011.

• Behnam has MA at Entrepreneurship Management from the University of Tehran

Work

• Behnam is currently Director-General of Integrated Management of National Information Network of IT Organization of IRAN
• He also is Director-in-Chief of PTMag (Pishran-e Tosee Monthly) a strategic monthly magazine in Iran about Information Technology.
• Behnam is a Business Consultant in Iran on Startups and Entrepreneurship about IoT, Cloud, IT and etc.

Governmental Advisory Committee. Considers and provides advice on the activities of ICANN as they relate to concerns of governments, particularly matters where there may be an interaction between ICANN's policies and various laws and international agreements or where they may affect public policy issues (ICANN Bylaws).

Root Server System Advisory Committee. Advises the ICANN community and Board on matters relating to the operation, administration, security, and integrity of the Internet's Root Server System (ICANN Bylaws).
