Roque Gagliano Molla is a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Kansas.[1] He also serves as the Senior Project Engineer and Policy Officer at LACNIC. At LACNIC, he oversees the policy deployment process and is an IPv6 instructor as part of the 6Deploy project.[2]
Career edit
Prior to joining LACNIC, he was the Network Engineer at ANTEL, and had responsibilities in network planning and operations with Sprint. From 2006 to 2008, he chaired the NAPLA, which is the Latin American IXP group. He participated in the main access panel in the IGF in Rio de Janeiro in 2007.[3]
He has been a teacher at the Electrical Engineering Institute, Engineering Faculty at the University of the Republic from 2002 to 2003, and again since 2006; Roque also taught at the the Physics Institute of the University between 1997 to 2002.
He has been the Vice-president of Kansas City chapter of the COMSOC for one year. He has also been the President of the IEEE Student Branch, University of the Republic, from 1999 to 2001 and Chairman of the Fulbright Association, University of Kansas, 2004-2005.[4]

Gagliano holds an Engineering Degree from the University of the Republic in Uruguay. He also has an M.Sc from the University of Kansas.[6]
