Professional Experience

Currently, she is working on a project called “Science, Education and Learning in Freedom” (SELF), which aims to create an online platform for developing free educational materials on Free Software and Open Standards.[1]

She is also involved in the development of two important EU projects: Tossad (or Towards Open Source Software Adoption and Dissemination) and Flossworld.[2]

Since 2004, Dessi Pefeva has been the project manager of the Creative Commons Bulgaria initiative. She is responsible for two of the most important websites for Creative Commons' activities in Bulgaria: openculture.net, an online portal, and the official blog: http://cc.isoc.bg.[3]

Within ICANN, Dessi is a member of the EURALO and occupied the secretary position.
