Jean-Jacques Subrenat is a writer and a diplomat. Presently he is the senior advisor to the board of CCRN and a part of EUNIC. He was selected as a member of the ICANN board, his term began is 2007 and ended in 2010.[1]
He is also working as a consultant after retiring from diplomatic service. He is the chairman of advisory board of "Institut Pierre Werner" and a Tutor at ENA.[2]
Education
Jean holds a doctor's degree in history from the Sorbonne University of Paris. He has done diploma from Bordeaux, Paris, Osaka.[3]
Career History
- He was a volunteer in the French Navy (1960-63)
- From 1967-1971, he was a researcher at CNRS.
- From 1972, he worked as a steady part of the diplomatic service holding different positions which include policy planning staff, head of the affairs department, diplomatic advisor, Deputy director for Asia and Pacific.
- He has been an Ambassador to Western European Union, Ambassador to Estonia and an Ambassador to Finland.[4]

- He also wrote a book titled "Listen, there's music from the forest: a brief presentation of the Kuhmo Chamber music festival"
